WHAT IS WEATHERPILE?
Weatherpile is woven from a Polypropylene yarn to form a brush strip. It has many different applications and has been used in the window industry for many years as a proven weather protector.

DURABILITY
Because sash windows slide along the weatherpile ,they are subjected to large amounts of directional force. Polypropylene is a highly resilient material well suited to cope under these aggressive conditions.

WATER REPELLENT
Weatherpile is woven from yarn which has been impregnated with silicone, thus offering an additional barrier against water absorption.

WEATHER RESISTANT
Not only is weatherpile an excellent draught-proofing product, but it is also highly resilient to abrasion, ozone & biological attack. The yarn is UV stabilised to minimise the effects of ultra violet light
