Heritage Draught-proofing Easy Slide System

Both sashes are removed and sent outside to our van side workshop. Flaky paint, putty and any rot is removed and repaired both on the sashes and box-sections.

‍ If required the sashes are weight balanced before they are cleaned up and re-corded with Plated Nylon Sash Cord.

‍ High quality weatherpile is then applied to all parting and staff beads. We use a pile with an additional fin in the center. This increases the weather performance and draft exclusion properties.

DRAUGHT-PROOFING

SPLICING-GLAZING

We provide the highest quality service and use only the best materials. From minor resin repairs, missing putty and broken panes to larger scale splices and replacements, our craftsmen are able to return your Sash Windows to their original condition.

In rare cases new sash lights may be required. We also can supply these to exactly match the existing style.

We always endeavor to retain as much of the original window as possible in line with local conservation and listed building requirements

Double Glazed Options

Our double glazed sashes are always made in hardwood Accoya® and glazed with the very latest high performance sealed units. These units are; Toughened, Low E and argon gas filled.

We also offer a full factory paint finish to the sash lights. This is a four coat Teknos spray system which achieves an outstanding finish (far better than hand brush painted)

By utilising the existing frames and remaking the sashes with double glazed units we achieve the same performance as new windows but at a greatly reduced cost.

Full Replacement

We can carefully cut out and replace the entire unit. Measured to fit and made locally using the same ultra long lasting timber and factory sprayed smooth in any colour.
